A couple of days ago I had to photograph a rather brutal routine, which is however very immanent in pastoral life — butchering of young sheep in a farm. It was performed in a rustic way, as has been done during thousands of years. For me as a photographer, a bystander and observer, the event provided fruitful moments. Especially since nobody had time to bother about my interference.
A little reportage of the slaughter is here: http://toomas.fotokogu.com/lambatapp/

Such a delicate treatment of a difficult subject. Thank you!
