About

So you wonder what it is about? Basically, it is about my photography. But also about my perception of the world, about the people I meet, about my thoughts which top the half century of my living experience. Does it sound too dramatic? OK,  then I would say it is simply about joy. The joy of capturing passages from one moment of life to another.
And it is also about my works. Educated as a geographer, I have been involved in the programmes where the relations of people and nature are essential, such as World Wide Fund for Nature or the UNESCO’s programme “Man and Biosphere”. My research interests have lied in the roots of culture which penetrate into people’s home nature. Departing from research, I have increasingly devoted myself to photography, or rather, to expressing myself by means of photographic vision.
My home today is on the island of Hiiumaa, which is like a big boat anchored in the Baltic sea. Hence the logbook.
Welcome to see my logbook.
Stay softly focused!
